I'm Thinking I Might Have ADHD: Who Can Help and What to Notice

Many people or parents recognize the signs of ADHD in them or their child long before they receive clarity or support. This program explores why ADHD is often missed or delayed, particularly due to gender differences, co-occurring conditions, misinformation, and access barriers. We’ll look at how ADHD shows up across the lifespan, how symptoms shift over time, and why adults and high-functioning individuals are frequently overlooked.

Participants will learn when it’s time to seek help and who is qualified to diagnose ADHD. The program also focuses on what comes next: evidence-based treatment options, layered supports beyond willpower, practical lifestyle strategies, and available school, workplace, and legal protections.

Finally, we’ll address ADHD and understanding how diagnosis can reshape (not redefine) self-understanding, and how to support a child, partner, or loved one. A diagnosis is not an endpoint; it’s a doorway to personalized, flexible, and compassionate support.
